I’ve seen a lot of people spraying water on their peppers before a night of frost. I know this somehow protects the plant but when is the best time to do the watering? Right before it cools off that evening or middle of the night?
Thanks,
Louie

Great question!
Citrus farmers and other's have been doing this for hundreds of years to prevent early frosts and freezes from completely destroying their crops.
A great example of a Pepper Guru Community member doing this in the northern territories is none other than Brian Hamilton!
Definitely give Brian's content a look over. The guy grows GIANT pepper plants in a super short, cold northern hardiness zone. Always focusing on the pepper growing fundamentals and refusing to have the "i can't" mindset!
