Happy pepper plant that was probably planted by a squirrel. Didn't start growing until after I pulled a tomato plant out of the pot. Aji Limon maybe?

Definitely Capsicum baccatum, so I'd say Aji Limon or Lemon Drop is a good guess!

Well, the peppers finally ripened, at least one anyway. And it is a lemon drop/aji limon...interesting though...the plant is much larger than my original aji limon that I have had for a couple of years. I assume a bird planted it in the front of the house. The pepper is also slightly less hot. More like jalapeno heat compared to the 3x jalapeno heat of the original limon. Not sure if it's just some variability due to soil/sun/etc, or if its a hybrid.

Nice! Could just be a not so hot one, or conditions. Aji Limon plants can get huge! Here's my niece next to mine in 2017!
