SRTSL. Sara Ragoonanan Trinidad Scorpion Long.
Most people don’t realize there’s a hidden origin story behind today’s superhots.
SRTSL wasn’t some random new monster. It was a sibling line from the original batch of Trinidad Scorpion Moruga Blends sent from Trinidad around 2007 by Sara Ragoonanan (TriniHottie on THP)
Those seeds most likely went first to Christopher Phillips then made their way through The Hot Pepper and Pepper Friends forums and the rest is history.
That same genetic pool gave us the Carolina Reaper and the 7 Pot Primo.
One genotype a handful of seeds and an entire generation of record chasing peppers was born.
The rest is the part of the story most people have never heard.
