Used to grow limited varieties when I lived in the UK, moved to Florida (north of Tampa) and lived in condos up until a few years ago. Now I've got 1/3rd of an acre that I'm using for various fruits and veggies. Growing here is a completely different beast. So I joined the Pepper Growing group and followed Rich's advice to join. I tried last year with limited success due to pests (whitefly, lubbers and hornworms) that I've never had to deal with before. despite that, 30 plants of 20 varieties survived overwintering and are coming back strong. I have around 50 varieties in seed trays and I'm armed with various organic and pollinators friendly potions to ward off pests. I'm appreciating the advice and stories fron the other group members and I've invested in additional equipment. Hoping for a successful season.
