How cool is this?!

Pepper Guru member @ — “Pepper Bob” — made the FRONT PAGE of this week’s Pickens County Progress for the absolutely ridiculous pepper garden he’s growing up in Talking Rock, Georgia!

And when I say ridiculous, I mean it. Bobby’s plants are loaded, several varieties are pushing 7+ feet tall, and he’s growing everything from Carolina Reapers and Chocolate Ghosts to some seriously nasty superhot hybrids.

I got a kick out of this part of the article:

“The only other guy in Georgia who has any larger is a guy in Stockbridge, the Pepper Guru, Rich Blood.” I’ll take it!

But seriously, THIS is what I love seeing. People getting obsessed with peppers, learning the plants, getting better every season, experimenting with genetics, and sharing that passion with everybody around them.

And this is only Bobby’s FOURTH season growing peppers. Now the dude and his peppers are on the front page of the newspaper!

Congratulations Bobby! Well deserved, brother!
